Jason Aldean doesn't want his fans to fret because he wasn't nominated for a County Music Association award this year.
The multi-platinum-selling artist, whose latest album 'My Kinda Party' hit stores this week, has taken the absence of a CMA nomination in stride. He has, after all, just received two American Music Award nominations -- for Favorite Country Male Artist and Favorite Country Album, along with an American Country Award nod for Male Artist of the Year.
"It's just one of those things," Jason tells The Boot of the CMA competition. "I definitely think being on an indie label doesn't help. I don't have a lot of votes that other people have ... But it's not just that -- it is just how it works. Whoever can scrape up more votes wins."
