Kenny Chesney has offered up 10,000 copies of his 'Boys of Fall' football documentary DVD to high schools and their football coaches, in an effort to inspire young athletes both on and off the field.
During his year off the road, the entertainer interviewed several of football's most successful coaches, players and commentators, including Joe Namath, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, John Madden and Sean Payton, about the life lessons learned by those who participate in football programs. Of the experience, Kenny said he learned a lot from all of the people he interviewed.
"I got something from every one of them," explains Kenny. "It was probably one of the best journeys of my life being able to go around this year and interview all these people, all these men that have shaped lives on and off the field for a long time. I've been so busy the last couple of years. I've been giving to one thing and doing all this stuff, it's been great, but that doesn't leave a whole lot of time for you to sit and actually reflect about what you want in your own life and about what you want in it and about where you are in it."
