This just in...: Wale offends Fredericksburg with loud, filthy lyrics; TI off the hook for drug charges; Godard skips Oscar ceremony

Wale, 2009. (AP/Jeff Christensen) The president of the University of Mary Washington apologized to campus neighbors for a Saturday outdoor concert by Wale that was not just "extremely loud" but apparently pretty raunchy, the Fredericksburg Free-Lance Star reported. Rick Hurley acknowledged the D.C. rapper's lyrics were "upsetting to those who would not choose to attend a concert of this nature." Los Angeles prosecutors have dropped charges against T.I. in the September drug arrest that sent him back to prison for violating probation, TMZ reported, having decided the amount (four tabs of ecstasy) was too small, and, well, he's going back in anyway. Jean-Luc Godard will not pick up his honorary Academy Award in person next month. The French filmmaker's girlfriend told reporters earlier this fall he was put off that the statuette will no longer be part of the Oscar telecast but rather an off-camera dinner. The academy folks
