While Kenny Chesney may have taken 2010 off from touring, he's back in full-force with his upcoming Goin' Coastal tour. Another 41 arena and amphitheatre dates have been added to the previously announced 10 stadium shows, which includes the already sold-out Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.
"To know that the music you've created and some of the songs you've written mean so much to so many people -- I've loved seeing it grow into that," Kenny says. "It's a show, but our shows have become experiences. I love that about our crowd. My fans work hard and they play hard. And I'm like that, too. The two hours I'm up there, I don't think about anything else. I love that shared experience. It's what I love about live music."
Fans can start getting their good time on with openers Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker when the tour kicks off March 17 at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla. The Zac Brown Band will join Kenny for the stadium dates in Tampa, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Green Bay, Wis., Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Kansas City, East Rutherford, N.J. and Foxboro, Mass.
