If you have been waiting to hear new music from Lady Antebellum, the wait is nearly over. The trio release their new single today, followed by the television debut of the song on the 'American Idol' results show on Thursday (May 5). Word has it the new single is titled 'Just a Kiss,' which they performed at the Divas Nashvegas benefit show for the Oasis Center in Nashville on Friday.

The group is probably just as thrilled as their fans to release new music. "SO excited to perform a new song next Thursday on Idol! Hope you guys can tune in!," they tweeted on Friday.

While he would not reveal any details about the new single, only that "We're very, very close," Lady A's Charles Kelley did say at last week's Best Cellars Dinner for the T.J. Martel Foundation that the band is putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to the multi-platinum 'Need You Now.' "We're excited! We're so ready for new music, we're just chomping at the bit," the singer tells The Boot. "It seems like forever promoting 'Need You Now,' so we're ready for some new music."
