The long-awaited latest album from Alison Krauss and Union Station, titled 'Paper Airplane,' was released yesterday, April 12. And while the disc already yields some amazing new tracks from the multi-Grammy-winning singer and her band, the deluxe version you'll only find in Target stores features six additional offerings from the eclectic supergroup.
According to Alison's official website, the collection boats three additional studio cuts, 'These Days' and 'A Place Outside,' were both written by Angel Snow and Alison's brother, Viktor Krauss, the pair who contributed 'Lie Awake' to the new album. In addition, the deluxe disc includes 'Frozen Fields,' penned by Jeff Black and Jon Randall. Also on the album are three live AK&US tracks, 'We Hide and Seek,' 'Faraway Land' and 'Every Time You Say Goodbye.'
The 1992 collection, 'Every Time You Say Goodbye,' was Alison's second to win the Grammy for Best Bluegrass album, and the singer/fiddle player says her approach to recording has changed in many ways since that time.
