'Bones' Fan Columnist: Death by Chocolate
OK, my fellow Bones fans. This week's episode "The Babe in the Bar" was another great one in my book, and it was once again due to the fact that there was no Hannah. I mean, really, I don't think there could be a bigger hint for the Bones writers to take. Also, I have to take this time to give the Bones crew their props for having one of the most disgusting openings I can remember seeing on the show. Job well done, guys.

It's Official: Fox Picks Up Christian Slater Comedy 'Breaking In' For Midseason
EXCLUSIVE: Fox has picked up comedy pilot Breaking In for midseason with a seven-episode order. The order comes after several weeks of negotiations between Fox and the project's producer Sony Pictures TV. The single-camera workplace comedy starring Christian Slater is being rumored as a possible replacement for Fox's underperforming fall comedy Running Wilde, which has not received a back order. It is expected to be featured on Fox's upcoming midseason schedule. The Sony TV/Happy Madison-produced Breaking In, which is set at a digital security firm, was developed last season. The pilot, written /exec produced by Adam F. Goldberg and directed/exec produced by Seth Gordon, had buzz and tested very well but ultimately missed the cut for a series pickup at Fox in May. In June, the network gave it a new lease of life with an order for 2 additional scripts, leading to Sony TV's decision to extend the options on the cast, led by Slater and featuring Reaper star Bret Harrison. With the pickup, Sony TV now has comedy series on each of the Big 4 broadcast networks: Mr. Sunshine and Happy Endings on ABC, veteran Rules of Engagement and midseason entry Mad Love on CBS, sophomore Community on NBC and Breaking In on Fox.
Thursday Night Comedy Club: Liz Lemon Can't Be Cool
Here we are again, comedy pals! Last night was another solid one when it came to yuckin' it up, even doubly so for me, because instead of staying in and watching these shows when they aired, I went to an actual comedy club and saw the very funny comedian Kyle Kinane do live comedy. It is his job, and he is way too good at it. (He has a Comedy Central Presents coming out soon. Watch it. You will like it.) And then, when I got home, I had all these hilarious recorded TV shows waiting for me. Sometimes life is just a chuckle-fest, you know?Speaking of people who are too good at their jobs of making us laugh: Community, 30 Rock and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia have been on some real hot streaks lately, haven't they? After last night's "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design," I came to the conclusion that Community is revolutionizing how much funny you can stuff into 22 minutes. And 30 Rock is at the top of the field when it comes to pretty much telling the same story over and over ("Liz Lemon can't be cool!") but making it feel new and great each time. Any Sunny episode all about Charlie is great, and last night's "Charlie Kelly: King of the Rats" was no exception.Full disclosure, I haven't watched The Office's "WUPHF.com" yet, but maybe you did, so you be the blog: What did you think of it?Here are the highlights of those other shows I just mentioned, plus quotes and videos:
Steuart Martens experiences reality-stardom's diminishing luster
Steuart Martens, 2010. (Dominic Bracco II/FTWP) Pity the seventh-generation reality star: Steuart Martens, a lifelong Washingtonian, is on a total hot streak in the final weeks of NBC's "The Apprentice" right now -- and you probably didn't have a clue, did you? Compare to the guy who won the first season of Donald Trump's reality competition before 28 million viewers in 2004: Bill Rancic now has his own reality show. Heck, the contestant fired midway through that same season spun off into perpetual fame as one-name-only Omarosa. Just as the first "Bachelorette" will be on magazine covers the rest of her life, the gal who didn't win the second "Survivor" now co-hosts "The View." Now Martens, 27, is on "The Apprentice," showing off his business acumen by, you know, bathing small dogs and posing for shirt ads -- the classic reality TV gauntlet -- except that these days only
'Hell's Kitchen': Sabrina's Guide to Life
Last night, Sabrina Brimhall was eliminated on Hell's Kitchen. Though Gordon Ramsay said she needed to grow-up a little more, we think that Sabrina had a unique outlook that we could all benefit from. And so we present, Sabrina's Guide to Life.
